lovely morning
I have been up ealy
Listening to radio garden program on the internet
good coffee,
been outside a bit in the garden
spray painted an outdoor fixture with little jewel things on it that I taped.
there are two of them Need a second coat on first one and not taped second
Amidst it all was thinking as we do about nothing so much but things that seem to come to mind at times, as I become older
The thoughts this morning where of
Grace who took my two party fun happening dresses. Never asked don't know what she did with them as they did not ever fit her.
One was black with silver metallic stuff woven into the material
the other gold metallic with a pattern, of which I now can not think of the name in it
Both where fitted sheath style and I only used them a few times as my life as a party person was short.
Next thing you know I was married and having babies.Living on farms and fo sure a big change in life
Expect Grace doesn't even know what happened to them probably pitched them out years ago.
Is yet a big deal to me
Other thing is related to Sarah
She likes jewelry as does Grace
But at one time years ago I gave her a necklace and earing set of Rhinestones.
THe setting old fashioned and I don't know if there is much actual financial value to the set
This set belonged to Joan Bacci who was Aunt Alice McRoberts daughter. Joan died at the age of 21 a tragedy to the life of Aunt Alice
Joan was a spoiled girl I guess but she completed nursing training and was a strong individual and quite beautiful
Aunt Alice adored her and gave her everything she could want
Most gorgeous outfits to wear Jewelry, fine shoes and lingerie.
When visiting as a child, I loved to go into Joans room when she was home to have a look and smell how lovely her things where.
After she died, Aunt Alice gave me two no four things that belonged to Joan A broach of pure silver , which I have A bracelet of polished silver which I have and a gorgeous dress a ball room gown that Joan wore for her graduation from nursing
I kept the dress quite awhile Never had occasion to wear it and one day cut it up into pieces and made some doll clothes from it.
Last thing and most beautiful I thought is the Rhinestone necklace
Now I believe that Sarah would have it yet, but I don't know if she knows how kind of special that it is.
I guess it is not all that special but to me, which is why I am writing this, it is.
Well Laura is waiting for me to go out for breakfast so best close off
