Farm Property in Need of Big Clean Up

My brother bought this place. The last owner hasn't quite moved yet. I visited the place this week and took theses photos. Tried to see something more of the house but could not really get closer. The smell of mildew and mould was not pleasant. I could smell it as soon as I left the car.

Also, there are still animals living in the house. I heard a rooster crow several times as I took the photos. I heard there were/ are a lot of cats in there too.

The house may have been nice at some point in time. I did see the old window frames, kind of rotted looking now though. Most of the wood was bare wood.

An addition on the back of the house which may be where he had been living. There was a barbecue by that back door so likely that's where they cook. A radio was on but I didn't see any people. Didn't really want to anyway so that was not a problem.

Old clothes line still hanging in there.

Some rusted farm machinery looked interesting.

Radio was coming from here. This may be where the people live now that the house is full of cats, chickens, etc.

This may be the front door. It's at the side of the house.

The back of the property. I don't know how much is Graham's land. It had been a bigger property but part of it was sold to someone else.

The front yard out to the road. There is one new oak tree growing beside the driveway. I hope they don't cut that down when they clear out all the other trees, bushes and etc. Looks like it had a garden once, but I could only see a few stragglers coming up now. Graham thinks it will be easier to clear it all out rather than fuss over and save anything.

Two windows at the front of the house, facing the road. That ladder is always there and the windows are always open. No doubt lots of wild things living up there and mouldy too. I really wanted to see the house but so much stuff around and big trees. Walking in the grass was too risky because I couldn't see at all what I might be stepping on. There is a lot of debris, trash, junk around. Very easily broken glass, nails and such which would not be a good thing. Also, there is likely a well and septic somewhere and I don't see any markings to keep people away from it.

Four wheels from some other farm equipment. I couldn't tell what it was and didn't want to risk walking through the long grass and whatever else was hidden in it.

A dirt driveway up to the house. Every other time I have been here there is a big white cube truck parked there. I thought the house might finally be emptied out - until I heard the roosters.

Big trees to take down. We just had one fall on our house here so I know they will be expensive to take down and get the stumps out too.
