Is a Tuesday morning here in Barrie. A rainy mild morning .
We had frogs and toads in the pond in back but seems the crows have eaten them all.
I have seen them in one particular spot sitting on the water which in some areas now has a thick bed of pickeral weed. (Pickeral weed is not a weed, well not so far in this pond , although it is thickening. Looks attractive though all summer and has a nice blue flower on it.
Anyway the crow sits on an area there and watches Must be somehow a gathering, not a nest I guess where the toad or frog reside in calmness as the bird comes to the same spot all the time.
Well they must have got them all now as no longer do they sit there. We put in 100 small goldfish a couple of weeks ago But maybe 60% of them will die early in the season THe remainder mostly survive until cold and freezing weather..
I was going to write though about my daughters
Laura who just got a pair of new pillows for her bed. and whose room is being worked on to accommodate books.
- possessions are difficult at time. What to do with them . Maintaining order with them all that stuff
Sarah and Grace
ongoing stuff with them
But now thinking to put thoughts re these gals on paper well figuratively maybe I had best stick with gardens.
Did talk to Grace last night though She phoned We haven't talked so much
I find women of today are different .
Or maybe it is just a generation thing
Anyway in her seventh month now of a pregnancy said she is doing well and not so worried about the health of the child now as in the early stages of this pregnancy
So lovely for Grace and Gareth to be having a child. Hope it all goes well.
That is all I am writing for today
Trying to be of some help in getting Zack graduated and off to University this September So have a couple of notes to reply to
One from the Food Bank of Harry Chapin in Ft Myers. Re some volunteer hours.
